I just ordered these Postcards to help get word out about my MFA project all about Moweaqua … this project literally cannot happen without people in town wanting to be part of it. The project so far is one part memoir, one part community celebration, one part documentation of life in Central Illinois- which I’m hoping makes for a great body of work altogether.
I stopped short of saying “Can you spell Moweaqua? Can you pronounce Moweaqua? Can you spot Moweaqua on a map?- I want to talk to you!”
I fell in love with this new image from this weekend, it immediately takes me to the 4-way stop downtown.
